Personalised experiences are also available and priced to suit the requirement. A pick-up from a nearby aerodrome may also be possible by agreement and at an extra cost.

More about the Nanchang CJ6

The aircraft you will be flying in is an export version of the Nanchang CJ-6, the PT-6A. Originally it had an Huosai 285hp engine and as part of a 3 year, 400 hour restoration, the engine was replaced with a far more powerful Vedeneyev 385hp radial engine, thus significantly improving performance.

It is fully CAA certified and now performs like a WWII fighter with a 2,000 feet per minute climb and 180kt (200mph!) speed. A flight test of this aircraft also featured in Pilot Magazine in February 2019. You can read this article here
