This established and friendly group is looking for a sixth like-minded active and experienced pilot with a love of radials to participate. The aircraft has been lovingly restored over the last 3yrs, and over 400hrs spent on her; and counting. This is the best performing Nanchang PT-6A in the country.

White Waltham has 6 grass runways with maintenance and fuel on site.

More about the Nanchang CJ6 and More about the Vedeneyev M14-P Radial Engine

The aircraft is an export version of the Nanchang CJ-6, the PT-6A. Originally it had an Huosai 285hp engine and as part of a 3 year, 400 hour restoration, the engine was replaced with a far more powerful Vedeneyev 385hp radial engine, thus significantly improving performance.

It is fully CAA certified and now performs like a WWII fighter with a 2,000 feet per minute climb and 180kt (200mph!) speed.
